There has been increased interest in exploring our country both with our globe and with puzzles- it’s fun to watch them pointing to and talking about places they have visited or who lives there (grandparents, Mickey Mouse)! In addition, different modes of transportation have become a hot topic...”I took the train or airplane”!

Earlier this week, Koby came into school with a preying mantis. So excited, the children were determined to make this our classroom pet until we googled its diet. Unable to provide the preying mantis with the necessary nutrients/diet in our room, we knew we had an important decision to make! Ultimately, we wanted to do what was best for its survival and all agreed to put “Koby Jr” back outside to enjoy the benefits and wonders of the great outdoors!
